I started here while playing geoguessr a while ago. Let's just hope google doesn't notice too quickly because what is probably a broken camera looks quite nice :)
Awesome TED Talk: Jay Silver: Hack a banana, make a keyboard. About the things that happen if you combine everyday objects with each other in unintended ways, play around and then add some electronics on top. The MaKey seems to be a bit on the pricey side, though :(
I've always thought the Eurovision Song Contest was interesting, not for the boring music, but because there's always one or two countries doing something weird. And then because of the ritual of countries distributing points. It will be interesting to see how these predictions by Martin O’Leary (who describes himself as a "recovering pure mathematician") will stack up against the results. Looks like he got the winner of 2012 right!
